The Vatican has the highest density of things to see per unit area. We went to the Vatican Museum and St. Peter’s Basilica there. The Vatican Museum is huge it contains my favorite statue of Augustus. I don’t think any human can create anything better. To me it was way better then David. The Sistine Chapel is also in the museum. To be honest I was not in awe when I saw it. It was nice but now wow. The entire ceiling in the rest of the museum is painted too so it was just routine. St. Peter’s is a monster. We climbed up to the top of the dome and it gave spectacular views of Rome. Inside is very ornate and spacious. After the Vatican and Rome we went to Pisa.
