Corfu, Greece

Corfu was the first stop in Greece. It is a small island of the west coast of mainland Greece. The island has beautiful views and is a lot greener then the other islands. Corfu has two forts in town the old fort and the new fort. The new fort was built in the mid 1500’s. The old fort gives spectacular views of the city and sea.

Corfu is famous for a kumquat drink. When we went to go check the prices at 9am the lady selling it asked us if we wanted a sample. When we said yes we didn’t expect 2 shots worth of alcohol each, especially at 9am. The next stop after Corfu was Olympia.
