The day after the Mt. Whitney trip we had another trip planned for Yosemite. The plan was to take two nights and hike from Tuolumne meadows to Yosemite Valley making a side trip to Half Dome. On the second day we went up Half Dome. It was a lot steeper then I thought it would be. It was super cool going up the side of the dome, from the top there were spectacular views to the north and south. Instead of staying the night in little yosemite valley we just hiked out that day. It is a long hike from the valley but Half Dome is well worth the trip.
